About the event
My name is Tasha Naomi, mom, fiber artist and owner of Knots for Daze. I founded Knots for Daze in 2019 after falling in love with the art of macrame and the support of loved ones around me.
My macrame journey started in elementary school making friendship bracelets. In high school I made beaded hemp jewelry using similar knots. When I discovered the art of macrame I fell in love with knot art on a larger scale. After buying my first roll of cord I discovered the possibilities of what I could make are endless!
In this workshop we will learn how to make a plant hanger using 2 basic knots, the gathering and square knot. Hangers are made in your choice of colors with 100% recycled cotton cord. The project will take between 2-3 hours to complete based on skill level and your hangers will fit a 4"-6” pot when completed. Written instructions are available upon request.
If you have additional questions please feel free to reach out to Tasha directly! knotsfordaze@gmail.com
