Barre Teacher Training

Service Description

This 40 hour training was created when I recognized the industry standard of barre certifications is typically 8 hours and only skims the surface of providing a new instructor with what they need to feel prepared and confident to teach a class to the general population. With 60 hours of formal barre training, 12+ years of instructing dance, technique and fitness to all ages and 5 years of owning a studio, I am excited to share this certification. Enhance your understanding of the barre method, build confidence to share your knowledge with others  and learn how to lead the class! TRAINING INCLUDES: *Learn how to structure and formulate an effective fitness class for all levels *2 practice classes *Modify class for the beginner and enhance class for the seasoned *Feel confident in cueing your class *Injury modifications *Pregnancy modifications *Hands on adjustments *Anatomy of barre *How to succeed as an instructor aside from the workout ​ EXPECTATIONS: *20 hours of practice teaching, 18 hours of in studio training, 2 hours of homework. *You must be available to attend the entire weekend of training. There are no makeup hours *It is expected all practice teaching hours will be completed within 4 months of the training weekend. *You will be given a manual to keep and to take notes. It is recommended you bring along a notebook as well *Get ready to become comfortable with stepping out of your comfort zone. Cancelation Policy

THE BAR[RE] + HOT 11 YOGA enforce a strict late cancellation policy. If you are unable to make your reservation and cancel within the 6 hour window, it will result in a credit lost.
